Douglas Elliman Returns to The Hampton Classic Horse Show for 27th Consecutive Year

Douglas Elliman Realty announced today that it will sponsor the Douglas Elliman Grand Prix Qualifier at the 2023 Hampton Classic Horse Show, which runs from August 27 to September 3 in Bridgehampton, New York. An official sponsor of The Hampton Classic since 1996, Elliman celebrates its 27th consecutive year of partnership with the renowned equestrian event.

In complement to the competition and social events throughout the week, Douglas Elliman has unveiled the Fall 2023 edition of Equestrian magazine, featuring the brokerage’s premier portfolio of equestrian property listings in luxury markets around the country, including the Hamptons, Long Island, The North Fork, Westchester, Connecticut, Florida, Texas, Metro. D.C., Colorado and California. The issue also includes original stories about Argentinian polo giant Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, artisanal bootmakers Der Dau and more.

Scheduled for Friday, September 1st, the Elliman-sponsored Grand Prix Qualifier offers top riders the chance to compete for $78,000 in prize money and a custom-made horse blanket designed and manufactured by The Clothes Horse, a Cinnaminson, New Jersey-based company founded by pioneering designer Edith Friedman and led by her longtime assistant, Katrina Coldren.

One of the largest outdoor horse shows in the country, with more than 100 classes of competition for horses and riders of all ages and abilities, The Hampton Classic draws some 50,000 attendees each year, from equestrian enthusiasts to luminaries in entertainment, sports and fashion. The 60-acre show grounds feature six world-class show rings, the Agneta Currey Boutique Garden, more than 70 vendors and a wide selection of dining options.
