A New York City landmark is hitting the road to highlight a new opportunity for real estate agents worldwide.
As the exclusive sales and marketing firm for The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria Residences, the stunning new residential reimagining of the iconic NYC hotel, Douglas Elliman Development Marketing (DEDM) is offering any licensed real estate agent the opportunity to receive a 3 percent referral fee, to be disbursed at contract signing.
To spread the word, DEDM has launched a global series of gatherings in key markets where top agents can learn more about the Residences and the referral program.
The tour kicked off with a February gathering in Washington D.C., co-hosted by Evan Lacopo and Ruth Boyer O’Dea, Co-Presidents of the Metro DC Douglas Elliman offices, and Dan Tubb, Senior Director of Sales for The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria Residences. The event drew a strong turnout of more than 60 top-producing local agents from Douglas Elliman and other firms.
“The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria has received over 12,000 inquiries from people all over the world—many of whom have a personal connection to the Waldorf Astoria New York hotel or were longtime residents of The Towers,” said Tubb. “They all display a passion to return to the building, experience its artful restoration, relive the history that so many have made here and create new memories. This tour reminds buyers and their agents that Waldorf Astoria New York has an aura that no other place in NYC has.”
Noting a general resurgence of interest in pied-à-terres, as many buyers with multiple homes seek to retain a foothold in a major city, Tubb plans to co-host gatherings in other global luxury real estate hubs, including Dubai, Florida, California and Texas.
